The story

Background

iHelp Global is a UK Islamic charity running relief and development appeals across Ramadan, Qurbani, Zakat, emergency, water, orphan and food-aid verticals. Techno Serve delivered a complete digital transformation spanning website development, SEO, paid media, analytics, CRM and operations.

Challenge

The legacy WordPress site recorded just 5 organic sessions, loaded very slowly, scored 20/100 on Lighthouse and carried an 85% bounce rate. Appeal pages took 4–5 days to publish, donor data held “super high” duplication, and recurring retention sat at 40%.

Approach

We rebuilt the website mobile-first for speed and security, dramatically improving load times, then built the technical SEO foundation and an authority-building programme. iCHARMS unified donor records and automated stewardship, while cost-efficient Meta Ads drove awareness and retargeting during peak campaign periods.

Outcome

Organic sessions grew from 5 to 868 (a 17,260% increase), load times improved dramatically, and the Lighthouse score rose 175%. The website’s share of giving grew from 0% in 2024 to 7.4% in 2026 as the transformation matured. Meta Ads delivered 56.6K reach and 13 conversions for just £94 of spend. Appeal publishing dropped to under three hours (97.2% faster), recurring retention rose from 40% to 60%, and duplicate records fell by 95–99%.
